Davis out in the desert is one nutso dude, so you never know and miami is built to win right now so they are desperate for a hot shot qb that go throw long.  Going back to 8 or so and collecting multiple firsts and some seconds would help cure what ails us.

Well, now Brady is involved and could be the biggest QB acquisition influencer so how that would go - considering he was a very late pick himself and killed the NFL -  it is hard to say how desperate he would be feeling.

It doesn’t make sense that the team with the easiest schedule and worse record gets a higher pick.

Honestly of all the years to suck and have our first round pick (I still get ill thinking about that) this year looks like not the best one to have a top 3 pick. Seems like there are good players that would normally be graded as round 1 picks but a lack of superstars.

Actually it does. You should do better against weaker teams or a weaker schedule. 

Pretend it is the same team.

Plays a tough schedule and wins 2 games. 

Plays a weak schedule and still only wins 2 games, that is worse. 

Make any sense?

Trade down to get 10 to 12 picks. Draft heavy defense.

I honestly think we could still crank out a few wins. Gut tells me we end up highest 4, lowest 7ish.

Browns, Raiders, Titans, & dare I say the Saints look set up for death spirals meanwhile we’re still playing tough. And the Jags and Pats aren’t too hot.

Rams 2nd should be a top 40 so probably not too far down from what where the Bears will be picking. Watch that poo be right before us and they snag the guy we want. That would be par for the course.
