I won't argue the feelings for Bryce. It is a little weird how Dave ignores any questions about Bryce and instantly says Dalton is the starter. It's also weird how Bryce doesn't even get put in for mop up duty.

People don't pay attention to the cap. Trading Young during the season makes that VERY challenging.

I dont think the steelers had any intention of playing fields over wilson long term. Wilson was always the guy when he was ready. There was never a competition.

I don't think it is weird I think  it says that Canales sees Young as such a clear failure that he can't understand why he has to keep listening to the questions. I mean, they have seen Dalton and they have seen Bryce, 'why are they still asking this stuff?'. 

Or, he is secretly tutoring him and knows that his work will be undone if Young gets on the field too soon. It took just one quarter, a dozen or so snaps, to undo a whole offseason's worth of progress.

Okay, I'll stick with that, that sounds like something the pie in the sky folks might buy.
