DJ Moore: issues in Chicago?

Even if he left Chicago, I doubt he would be dumb enough to come back here after we burned that bridge with him by trading him to move up to select our current what appears to be biggest QB bust pick blunder in franchise history.

Want DJ back, sign Fields to compete for a roster spot in the off-season and hope he requests a trade out at which time hope Chicago takes a late round pick for him (obviously not happening) to make up for the stupid deal we gave them to trade DJ to them.

A bad look for sure, but I think Moore tweaked something but he still should have finished the play.  Moore doesn't seem to like Caleb and Caleb strikes me as the type of guy that when he misses a throw it is always someone else's fault.

Idk about y’all, but I’m enjoying the hell that is the last week and a half for the Bears. That fan base has been insufferable since the trade and I hope the worst for their franchise.

Raise your “We won the Bryce trade” banners!

The first part of your post you had me fully bought in.

That last line though.... SOILED IT!

I never understood the "He is overrated" argument on DJ. Nope, he is not the top in the league but the guy was damn good. Something about him seems like he isn't all in or all there as far as his commitment goes and leads me to believe if he was ferocious with his training and intensity on the field that he could have been one of the very best in the NFL. I definitely like him but it always seems and still does like a part of him is just doing enough to be good and he doesn't desire or care to truly be great. Just something weird there but his not all in effort with his career I believe he may have is still enough to make me take him back in a heartbeat because his production has always been there even though.

    • All I know is that it won't be boring. A win or two along the way and this team is suddenly in the mix throughout the season. It has been a long, long time we could say that at Thanksgiving. And that late bye of ours could give us a mighty leg up. If we can make it to it.
    • True, 12 man money league here….he is still sitting out there.  Projected to have a worse fantasy day than Davis Mills, Tyrod Taylor, Mason Rudolph that join him on the waiver wire
    • Yes to some degree, but the whole point of the video was that that applies to almost all QBs coming out of college. It’s not a Bryce specific problem. And those retreads you’re talking about may not have learned how to take those snaps from center yet either. They’re all growing/going through that process.    Bryce absolutely was part of the problem his rookie year (and continues to be part of the problem) but Frank Reich and company committed coaching malpractice. It truly was a lost year.    So really the question now is do you give him more time to learn or do you think there’s a better option out there. Maybe there is a retread that would be better for us, and maybe there’s a unicorn college QB that won’t have the same issues. But maybe there’s not.  I have no problem having Bryce on the roster next year or the following on his 5th year option if we don’t think there’s a better alternative. Hopefully bring in some competition of course, but give it a bit more time to see if he can improve.
