Cam isn’t being erased.

The players you see around are always in Charlotte. Cam has other things going on that interfere with schedules and what not.

Fat Matt is the one who took down all the players on the wall in the locker room.

He says "we'll never know" meaning he didn't even get invited to Germany

You really weren't right about the reasons why his career was shortened though  It wasn't from the running and it wasn't from being unable to effectively run anymore from the wear and tear like happens to RB. It was a fluke injury to his throwing shoulder because of an INT caused by his #1 WR quitting on a route. Then what was left of his shoulder got destroyed by a hit suffered from passing as a pocket QB behind a shoddy OL.

If anything, it proved the "Cam is going to have a short career because his running will cause him to age like a RB" wrong. Cam's career wasn't shortened because his running ability declined. It was shortened because he lost his ability to effectively throw the ball. His running was secondary to his passing all along and it took losing his throwing ability to demonstrate that. Cam very well could've adapted to not being able to run as well as he aged. He proved to be a much more efficient passer (68% completion rate) in Norv's offense than mose thought he could be. But he couldn't adapt to no longer being able to throw the ball effectively down the field.

This is exactly what needs to be said everytime somebody tries to say that crap about him running too much and basically being an oversized RB. I flipped on one of my friend's brother because he said this at a Christmas party a couple years back. I was like you just live in Charlotte and have no clue what you're talking about. If he had just turned and walked to the sideline like Peyton, Brady, Brees, or Big Ben has always did, he would've been fine. But he also didn't even get a real chance outside of New England to see if he still has it, but a bum like Chad Pennington did.

He's always in Charlotte lol

Literally had an event here weeks ago. Always says Charlotte is his 2nd home on his podcast.

I would really like to know why they act like he doesn’t exist. I mean, when they cut him, they didn’t really say much except “we cut cam” and then a little bit later made some bs goodbye video. Clearly something happened bc he deserved a better goodbye than that. I always thought it was Rhule, looks like it’s Tepper

Man can you imagine how fun it'd be to have Cam, especially with his personality, take part in events or just be around the team and fanbase again. That'd be the only thing I'd look forward to when it comes to this team these days. Cam is the fuging goat and panthers royalty. He deserves to be celebrated, he gave the city everything he had. Sometimes I can't even with this team man, it's so poorly run in all aspects.

    • Im not firm on many things football, but this statement or belief or strategy I am 100% for. Full Offseason the goal is to make the playoffs. Week 1, 1000% I want to win. Weeks 2-10,  1000% I want to win. Until the math stats 0.000000000% chance at NO playoffs, I want to win. *Once* there's no chance at the playoffs, I want to 100% lose every game until the end. You are still loser at 2-15 or 5-12, I want to never lose like this again. I want the best value for losing and suffering. Again the only goal is playoffs. Once in the playoffs anything can happen, I want to win the whole dam show. If you happen to lose in the first round, that's perfectly fine and lets work hard this upcoming off-season to get another chance to make them.  This is the ONLY way to play in the NFL. Anyone not understanding this method of strategy, please call your doctor for a visit...
    • Purdy's good but at the end of the day you're paying first class money for a business class seat.  It's a big problem with the salary cap.  QBs take most of it whether they are Pat Mahomes or not.
    • Purdy saved the 49ers from that three 1st picks for Trey Lance. People forget that. People also forget he should have MVP votes for the 23 season. He's been any where from the 8th(his best/23) to 14th ranked QB, he's legit and guys around top 10 get paid as QBs.....guys in 28th get paid too, he's 4x the QB Trevor Lawrence is and better than BY by miles as well...even without CMC, Samuel(whos a RB playing WE), and half the OL.    *BUT*    You non-believers missed this ultra important mistake that honestly made me reconsider all the praise I gave him. https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/49ers-qb-brock-purdy-throws-blind-40-percent   That's is damming to my case and reset my thinking of his. That's nuclear scary now and I need some time.  too honest for me to overlook.
