This is the perfect reason you can’t box score scout. At half today, he’s got a 10.3 YPA and a QB Rating of 100.  Whereas the past 3 games, he’s had a lower QB Rating (low 80s), which has been due mostly to relatively low completion percentage and YPA.

But if you watch the film, the last three games, he’s played with more anticipation, made better reads, and threatened down the field more than he has today. His numbers were deflated by drops that would have increased his TD%, YPA, and completion percentage. Today, he’s playing worse but his numbers are buoyed by an 83 yard TD.

It’s also a good reminder that level of play can fluctuate. Just because he played better the past few games doesn’t mean it would continue forever. But it also doesn’t mean that him playing like he is today will continue forever. Signs are pointing up. He’s got to improve more, but he has the ability to, he’s not hopeless.

How anyone can be not happy that he read busted coverage is insane. All players have opportunities and BY capitalized on it. Its simple. Enjoy it. It’s our fugging QB and Team. Keep pounding

Good thing there as nobody within like 7 yards, as Coker had to dang near completely stop. All worked out OK I guess but well underthrown vs where it could ideally have been.

Finally able to watch a bit today for the first time in weeks. Bit ugly so far but that happens.

Time will tell. He’ll be here all next year at least.

i know BY is the future at QB for the Panthers & it does not really matter what I think . however at the same time I also have enough common sense to know that's ridiculous..just saying

    • Interesting topic.  I have had a few NFL friends and one told me that he could not work out or train unless the activities and facilities were approved. AI: In many NFL contracts, certain activities are restricted, and injuries sustained during those activities can lead to the voiding of contract guarantees or even the entire contract. These restrictions often include dangerous activities like skydiving, rock climbing, or even engaging in contact sports like boxing. Additionally, injuries sustained while working out at non-team facilities or during personal recreational activities may be classified as "non-football injuries," potentially impacting the player's compensation.    Having said that, I question the reason the person filming this was not helping.  Secondly, the decision to put it on social media makes it seem a bit prearranged.  I do not think this would violate his contract, but I do think it is a bit stupid on his part in that he could be injured.
    • Doesn't make it right.  And as you put it, you wanted to ban him from being country, which is essentially policing who he is as a person lol  I get protecting the "asset", but banning people from living their life is crazy. Russell Wilson likes to play helicopter pilot.  I would deem that WAY more dangerous.  Those things scare me.  I still wouldn't want to keep him from doing it if I were his boss.  I would just try not to think about it, haha.
    • Could do better could do worse. I've seen some people very indignant over bringing him back and I can absolutely relate to the sentiment. But it's just in a backup role. He's also a good locker room presence and an effort player so for a 1 year rental in a year where we aren't going to do much it's fine. This is a development year. And there will be options if need be at the trade deadline. Besides at the end of the day we all knew a signing like this was around the corner after how drafting Mark Williams ended. He should have been our franchise center for the next several years. I don’t put that failure on the Hornets.
