LOL second round rb pick to miss first two years. This team is just so bad at drafting. They should farm out the process to a private firm or let a draft simulator do it.  AI can't be worse than this bunch.

TBH, Huddle consensus has been far better than the Tepper Panthers.

Huddle poll option for each pick and we would have a better team right now than what we have with Fitt/Morgan/Tepper doing the picks.

I feel bad for this kid...but I feel even worse for Morgan.

I think we are all disappointed that he will miss maybe two years but truth of the matter is matter is if he comes out balling then we will forget that fact. In limited reps he looked pretty impressive (that one screen where he stopped on a dime and picked up 10 yards was faulk-esque).

hope he gets healthy and doesn’t miss another game in his career.

From the team perspective, you move on. If he ever does recover he can have a role as a 3rd string RB until he gets back into gear. If it never happens, you can cut bait.

It sucks for the kid but we can't put too any eggs in the basket of another player that may never play a meaningful down again.

We could get a guy in the 5th to replace him, TBH.

Probably.

We just need to have a double threat at RB. Or a triple threat. Just beat defenses to death. And have super squirrel Bryce squirt and squirm randomly through holes just to piss them off more.

I don't think we have a coaching staff that is remotely interested in a dominant rushing attack, so we really need to get a #1 WR.

We certainly botched the handling of Brooks’s rehab and/or his return to play decision.

I’m still not giving up on Brooks becoming an important contributor to our team. Unfortunately, I don’t think that happens until 2026.

Likely a botched surgery or rehab issue before he got here. It shouldn’t have taken 12 months to be on the field. Something went wrong and likely early on

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
