I got it 30-27 KC.

Philly runs for over 200, turns it over once. Philly kicker misses a FG at some point.

KC turns it over twice.

KC wins the penalty battle slightly(angering conspiracy theorists that don't realize the last time a SB winner was more penalized than the loser was the 2013 season).

I think the people who screech about "conspiracy theorists" don't realize how easy it is to influence outcomes with a budget here and there. It's not like they're gift wrapping games for the Chiefs but just like the Pats before then it sure seems like every crucial questionable call in their games goes in their favor.

Let me see if the Pats ever lost a penalty battle during the Brady era.

The Chiefs haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher in their last 18 playoff games. Sure Barkley is better than most but that does include several matchup against Henry, and McCaffrey coming off a OPOY season. Could see the Eagles winning but I don't think they run for anywhere near 200. The Bills and Texans were able to run for a lot because the Chiefs had to adjust to stop those passing attacks -- the Eagles are much more limited passing the ball so the Chiefs can load up against the run. Also, Barkley is a big run guy, not someone who grinds out 10 yards on every play -- Chiefs are the best tackling D in the league so if they can limit the big runs I don't think Barkley will do much compared to his last few games.

Nothing will surprise me with this game but my guess is the Chiefs win a SB handily for the first time, 31-13 KC.

It's not about the overall penalty count and yardage. It's more about highly situational calls in key moments. A questionable beneficial penalty on 1st down in the 1st quarter deep in your own territory is a lot less impactful than a questionable beneficial penalty on 3rd and long in the 4th quarter on the brink of scoring range.

Yeah, as a Panthers fan I am painfully aware of that but the overall trend is a key thing too.

QB's have had success running against KC this year and this playoffs. I think Hurts gets over 40 rushing on them, if not more. I do thing they bottle up Barkley some but still net around 200 passing.

The issue will be I think they have real problems passing the ball.

Can't believe I will have to root for the Chiefs... Eagles fans are possibly the most insufferable bunch of fans around

I thankfully don't live in East pennsyltuckey and I only know one iggles fan, so go iggles although I think the chiets find a way to stop Barkley and get the win

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently).
