Tepper can buy a used 767 for an about 9 million (googled this. Cause I didn’t see any listed on FB marketplace) Add another million in for retrofitting for large man comfort and the  ownership and team travel grades jumps to the top of the list.

I don't understand not going first class, it's a billion dollar company and it's not like they going on vacation.  Maybe first class is for winners?

If the coaches are taking the seats then probably not a lot left for the players. DT just needs to drop a bag or 20 and make it happen.

Alternative is NFL buys 16 planes and splits cost between 32 teams.  Everybody gets a tax write off?   Rent out the planes in offseason to defray costs?  Probably a bit out of core competency but Roger is capable. ish.

Agreed. Fwiw, I still have hope that Tepper will get better. He seemed to  take a more hands off approach this past season.

I hope he gets better as well but the stupid weekly meetings and the draft input doesnt seem to imply he is more hands off

This is like the random surveys we get at work... The correct answer is to always ask for more...

Q. Is the coffee cheap enough?
A. No

Q. Are you being paid fairly?
A. No

Q. Should we spend more on the facilities?
A. Yes

Not if you play for the Dolphins...

That didnt work for the Patriots.

I love this study every year. It always boggles my mind how, or why people try to argue with/explain away the results.

These are the things that are controllable, and it's impossible to argue with people's opinions. Especially when the only opinions on this subject that matter are the people that took the survey.

I do think Tepper has improved substantially as an owner, and I think it's pretty clear he's learned some things. But we have a long way to go.

    • I think what makes a qb elite is when every week you think your team has a chance to win because of your qb. No matter who they play, they always make you feel like you have a chance. I have not gotten that feeling once while watching Bryce.
    • Great point!  The quotes from O'Connell about teams failing rookie Qbs and the one about how you coach them after 3 picks and a loss were really interesting.  To me, an idiot with a keyboard, it means NFL teams need to be patience if they are going to have quality QB play. So bringing me to Bryce, is there some benefit to being patient.  I know it's not a particularly popular opinion around here, and even I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it.  Most QBs, when benched lose their confidence.  It takes a LONG time to get it back.  Bryce on the other hand was benched, and came back a different player.  I feel like that's worth a lot more than the physical talents of a guys like AR15... I think Bryce has the mental make up to be a good NFL QB.  His problem will always be his tools.  Now it's on coaching to work around that.  Bryce is more physically gifted than late years Drew Brees (low bar, I know).   While I'm content to see what happens this season, there's a small part of me that says...maybe we should see what grows?  (let me duck and hide from the well earned vitriol the Panthers have earned). Then again, I agree that some guys get it while others just don't.  I'm still hoping for the Panthers and Bryce to find success this season.  But if not, I won't be too surprised if the plug is pulled and there is a restart.
