I thought this was an interesting fact of the day. Here to hoping we continue to keep this a strength and continue to draft O line guys some time after round one. We have such a long list of impact linemen that we drafted after the 1st, and we need to continue to draft for the future. Think of the impact some of the players on this list had on our team. We need to think of the future at RT, C, and even a development player or two at the G spots

just reading Mike Remmers name makes me want to barf lol

He's really unfairly maligned because of that game. He was a serviceable RT who just could not handle elite speed rushers one on one. The Falcons did us a massive favor denying us a perfect regular season in exposing that reality. Unfortunately, Rivera and Shula must have just through that Vic Beasley absolutely eating Remmers' lunch was a fluke and that he'd surely be able to handle Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware. That game was probably 70% about Wade Phillips taking Rivera and Shula to school and the majority of the remaining 30% was the refs absolutely refusing to throw any flags on the numerous blatant targeting hits by the Broncos.

It been reported they sent help for remmers numerous times and for whatever reasons- SB pressure, Cam changed play, players believed in rem, etc etc. The help was never sent. DG said it a few times. But also no one can explain why. Panthers were cocky and Favorited, they didn't change anything and didn't plan for RB or TE help against pressure. It wasn't need that whole season- Cam was playing out of this world and nothing could stop him....... but the #2 pick....

Miller was elite and he gave others the rem job too.

He gets a bad rap because of the SB which was 100% on Ron/Shula not adjusting and getting him help. Dude was great for a waiver wire pickup veteran UDFA.

Not exactly. Shula simply didn't change how he helped the OL. He very consistently adjusted for struggling protection by keeping in additional blockers and continued to run the same slow developing downfield routes. Wade Phillips countered this with blue dog blitzing where if the guy you're assigned to cover stays in to block, you blitz to negate the extra blocker so that you still create one on one opportunities for your pass rushers. Shula was seemingly oblivious to the reality that he could also counter pressure by dialing up quicker developing routes.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
