Buying a ticket at the stadium

Wait till 12:55 and you will get 50% or more below face for this game.

Agree, I always wait until right before gametime and scalpers are looking to unload.

Tip: Ask someone who is walking in if you can see their ticket before you buy anything, so you know what a legit ticket for the game looks like.

I've always wanted to go down there and get a ticket from a scalper, but my luck would be I would get a fake one. Are there really a lot of people out there selling fake Panther tickets?

I think you will be fine considering there are so many tickets left to be sold.

Darin Gantt seems to think differently.

You shouldn't have a problem. Look for the guys with the I need tickets signs. Never understood that. How come ur selling them but your sign says you need them?

They buy and sell and trade tix. If you have, say, two lowers, you can go up to them and trade for 4 upper level tix. Or vicey versey.

Best advice I have for avoiding a counterfeit ticket is to buy your ticket close to the stadium. If scalpers are within sight of the gates, the usually won't risk selling fake tix. Also, print out a seating guide to B of A stadium so you can see where those seats are because trust me, those guys will LIE to you all day long. Also, make sure you look at the seat numbers so you know all the seats are together.

First of all because they will try to buy tickets for really low from average Joes who aren't really looking to score a profit and then try to sell them for a higher price, and secondly because I'm pretty sure its technically illegal to have a scalping setup. So they can't just put on their sign "Buy tickets here" because then the police would probably be forced to question them. Its sort of one of those assumed things....the police know its going to happen just don't be broadcasting it. Finally, at this point its just a group mentality thing. Everyone does it so if you want to be recognized as selling tickets you do whatever everyone else does. I too wondered the same thing and that's what a good buddy of mine told me.

Furthermore, when buying a ticket from a scalper always look around a little bit. Sometimes you will find average people who just have extra tickets. And great idea by Catman to make sure you aren't getting a fraudulent ticket. Some people are just evil.

Our tailgate crew usually has anywhere from 2-10 extras every week. We usually don't have to walk around and hustle them since our lot is so close to the stadium we have people coming to us. We've been tailgating in the same spot for 16 seasons now and people know where we are.

I might suggest hitting up a couple larger tailgate groups to see if they might have anything.

Personally, we're heading to Charlotte Sunday morning with at least 6 (2 club and 4 uppers) that I know of right now. We'll see if anyone in the group who brought friends needs them first and sell the remainders...

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
