Can't believe the way we're disrespecting D-Will...

unbelievably stupid argument. have you been watching double trouble the last two years? deangelo williams is on the map because he splits carries with J-stew.

No, you just gave an ignorant answer.

D-Will was buried because we invested in a 1st round RB before giving him a shot at starter. Loved the luxury pick, but D-Will's time in Carolina was numbered. Think Brees/Rivers except at RB.

Wow...didn't know splitting carries with D-Will made him a good RB. Thought it just kept him "fresh". Just like how Vinny made D-Will into a good RB as well, eh?

Main point is that if we're not gonna play D-Will like a starter, then we're disrespecting him.

Hopefully Deangelo realizes that he'll never be "The Man" in Carolina, then proceeding to leave in the Offseason.

He deserves better than this.

And stop insulting the OP because he's right. He's being disrespected here and it's almost fuging blatant.

D-Will is a superior back to Stew right now, period. The fact that we had stewart in there when he's doing absolutely nothing astounds me. I love Stew, but I think D-Will is the better all around back... and I think if we let him go we're going to really really miss him.

how is he right? how can we run the ball when are down the whole time? its ridiculous. When we do get going we turn it over. D.Will is still the leading rusher. the OP is wrong.

DWill is the leading rusher b/c he is clearly the best RB. There were plenty of times today when were not down by two scores and Fox was just going w/ a rotation and Williams should have gotten touches. He was having a nice game.

Fox hopes people by into your train of thought. He will put an emphasis on the score as the reason. Fox will ignore the fact Williams was easily the best looking RB today(and is in general) when the score was close and was on the shelf.

it still amazes me how people miss the fact that williams calls himself out of the game most of the time.

there are times when the coahing staff calls for a rotation, but williams has a lot of say so in it just like any number 1 back should.

wacth the games more closely.

williams signals to come out.

stewart checks the sidelines to see if he stays in.

    • Horn was open on the first play but Bryce was trying to get the ball to Coker. First play the Rams were in cover 1 with a robber that did a great job of taking Coker and TMac away. Pressure got to the QB late as Moton was pushed on top of Bryce and he ended up throwing it away. Horn was open early underneath. Exactly what you're looking for here and he should have thrown to Horn. Maybe could have had Coker or TMac run the dig there instead, because the robber played both their routes perfectly taking them out of the equation. Throw away.  Second play the Rams are in cover 3. Yosh gives up immediate pressure. Coker and TMac were open but Bryce was already escaping the pocket and immediately turned into a scramble drill. No WR got open after that. So had to throw the ball away. Third play the Rams were back into Cover 1 with the robber. Ball is thrown to Horn but he was held by his defender and couldn't get to the ball. Perfect pass. Perfect. DPI or defensive holding should have been called.  Fourth play the Rams are back in Cover 1 no robber this time. TMac and Coker are running deep routes again. Jimmy pops open on the dig again with his man trailing. It's the right read. Good pass. Not perfect, but plenty good enough. Horn  loses focus and drops it.  No one was really schemed open in any of those plays. The second play was the only one that TMac and Coker were open, but the immediate pressure took the QB off his spot where he had to escape the pocket. I really don't know when he could have forced it to Coker or TMac. Maybe the last play. Deep safety was shading TMac. Coker had 1 on 1 running a fly, but the CB stayed on top the entire time. Maybe a deep back shoulder attempt. But Jimmy was open for the first.
    • I generally start w/ his sub par offensive production, inability to threaten the entire field like you would hope a franchise QB has the ability of in his backpocket.....and then get into his unicorn size.  how consistently below average and weak our offense has been under his direction (every season) IS the starting point of the Bryce "haters" convo.  I mean, take a Caleb Williams and a Bryce Young.  Forget draft status (despite it being identical)......they are world's apart if you just look at them as NFL only prospects.   They are basically Arnold and Danny from the movie twins.   Bryce basically is a likeable human and Caleb has all the other traits.
