Why you should not give up on this team.

This team dose not need to be rebuilt. It needs a competent Coaching staff. Yes we need some inside pressure and maybe a WR on the offensive side of the ball but thats far from needing to be rebuilt. Coaching is our main fault right now.

Its the Mangini Jets to the Rex Ryan Jets.

We have a rooke QB, 3 rookie WRs, and Steve Smith on offense. That is the passing game in 2010. That aspect of this team is being rebuilt. Fox is just a year delay in the rebuilding of the offense. Next year we will be doing something completely different on offense. We got the new parts this year.....next year the new parts will be running our new scheme. Jerry should have pulled trigger instead of being worried about paying the new guy heading into a lockout.

2010 has never been about winning in 2010. I will watch them. I won't spend a dime on them until Fox is gone and the legit rebuilding starts.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers use their first pick on ANOTHER receiver. And I wouldn't be upset with that, honestly.

But I do like Gettis, a lot even. I hope he's kept active over Jarrett and Edwards.

No offense dude but this is a B/S statement. I am a real fan who spends my hard earned money on tickets, merchandise, etc, for over 16 years and I am tired of this boring lifeless football. I will always be a fan of this team, but for you to make a statement that giving up on the team makes me "not a real fan" is garbage. The product that is on that field sucks, and Jerry Richardson has basically told us PSL owners, "Screw you, it's my team and I'm selling out because of the lock-out." This coaching staff should have been fired 2 seasons ago. It's time to dump this staff, bring in football people who know what the hell they're doing, and field a competitive team on a consistent basis. It can be done. Look at teams like the Patriots. They are there every year. It's because they have talented front office people in place. We have crap! Believe me, I am as big a Panthers fan as anyone. I'm just tired of the crap that we have been forced to support. The "Real" fans are tired of this s***!

Not saying I agree with all the moves and play calling and such, and I'm sure he will be gone after this year and it's probably for the best. Change is good sometimes.

But... listen carefully... Fox didn't fumble or throw and interception today. Take away our turnovers, and it's a whole new ball game. Actually, 3 new ball games if we're talking the whole season so far.

I would say from 2007 to present day Fox has been a different coach then early in his career here. It just hasn't been good. Now you can point to his 12 win season all you want.....but I would agree that was just mainly abusrd production from players who weren't always put in great scenarios. When Fox was asked to make adjustments and do some pretty basic coaching in 2008...he didn't do it. That is why they didn't win a single post season game.

Hey we started 0-3 last year, but for some reason I didn't feel as bad at that point. Our running game really needs to get going. Its clearly hurting us. I really didn't expect us to be this bad at this point in the season. I just pray Fox keeps Clausen as the starting qb. I don't care about a fumble on a wet day, and a forced INT to Smith in the endzone against one of the best corners in the league. Those won't last forever. But his zip on the ball, accuracy, and pocket presence all impressed me today.

As a pretty devoted fan I'm pretty disappointed, but I do think this team looks better every week.
