Jim Harbaugh and Brian Schottenheimer are not bad choices....i am not a fan of college coach turned nfl coachs though....if you want a real coach may as well get daddy schottenheimer too bad he does not know how to be the company man....he has won and pissed off management everywhere he has went

Brian Schottenheimer is just a skinny version of Jeff Davidson, and with a last name that's gotten him his jobs. He hasn't ever run a successful passing game. I'd take Jim Harbaugh in a second. He's riskier but a lot more upside.

Speaking of Harbaugh, I doubt the Panthers would hire a HC with no NFL coaching experience.

I'm not saying Harbaugh would be a bad coach, I'm just saying that I don't think the Panthers would hire a HC with no coaching experience at the NFL level.

I can see Harbaugh and would actually like that choice given what his brother has done in Baltimore. I wouldn't be as happy about the other two and I doubt Kelly even gets a look from any pro team. The offense he runs is gimmicky and based on having better athletes than your opponents (which doesn't happen in the NFL).

I like Harbaugh, but is he leaving Stanford?

A number of other clubs are also going to be looking for coaches, so we may not have an easy time getting him.

Would be nice to have a more O-oriented coach though.
