Injured RB's

Any word on our 3 injured RB's?

I was really excited to see Sutton finally get some time and tear it up, not so excited when his cart rolled past me to the locker room.

Funny how quickly your deepest position can become your most shallow.

We learned in 05 that you need 4 good backs because RBs can fall like flies in a run heavy offense.

I'd be surprised to see Stewart on the field this weekend. Concussions are much more of a matter of emphasis this year and his position and running style creates more helmet to helmet contact than would be wise to risk.

You might see the Goodson/Fiametta running game this weekend with a TE playing FB for us.

It's not a good sign for us that James Davis refused our offer, lol.

Why don't they bring up that #40 Vaughn from the preseason? Nobody wants to come here and even if Stew is ready to go, that will leave us with Fiammetta and Goodson. I think DLo is out for awhile and that injury was more serious than we've been led to believe.

I looked up Josh Vaughn on NFL.com link and it says he's affiliated with the Bills, however, I can't find him on the Bills roster or Transaction list Bill's transactions

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
