Everette Brown, Hardy, Goodson...

Let's not forget Charles Johnson. He isn't the best but he is good and is playing at another level than the rest of the Dline. Always running to the ball and seems to have a good motor. He is much faster than I thought and for his size in general.

Also I want to point out teams are starting to double team Hardy. Probably partly because they just can, but he will be a beast in the future. First time I saw him talk poo today after they double teamed him and fell after the second guys hit him lol. I like it. Dude is massive and has yet had a full offseason with the NFL.

I am sorry, what? Dude cost us a 1st AND 2nd round pick. Unrealistic Expectations? C'mon man. As far as I am concerned he should be right there with Charles Johnson on this defensive line. One sack, missed tackles...a bunch of spin moves that led to him being out of position. No thank you.

He isn't worth what this franchise wasted on him. He should've been picked in the 3rd round maybe the 4th.

We gave up one future 1st rounder for him and Mike Goodson.

If you're going to bitch and moan, at least know what you're talking about.

Haha I love how you retards are talking poo about Everette Brown and praising Greg Hardy for doing exactly the same thing. You can hate that we traded up to get EB, but it's not his fault we drafted him so high. Don't diss the man when he has a good game, damn.

Also, we got Goodson in that trade too, so it doesn't look like that bad a move if you ask me.

Brown had an impact last week as well. He has been playing better the last two weeks. Hardy plays pretty decent as well. Johnson, Brown and Hardy give us a decent rotation at de. The secondary isn't bad, and the linebacking core is pretty good. Our running backs are very good. And I think our receiving core is starting to come into its own. IMO, if we can get the oline and QB issues straightened out, we have a pretty good core of talent for whomever our new coach is.

Can you point me to the "Greg Hardy had a good game" thread? Let's remember that Hardy is a 6th round rookie and Brown is a 1st round 2nd year player. I guess we shouldn't blame Dwayne Jarrett since we drafted him in the 2nd round too. Eric Shelton? Keary Colbert? Let's blame the person making these bonehead picks then....I agree

Fire Hurney!

I think he had an average game. Better than alot of his peers. Just not an "impact" game.

Also, I guess 1st rounders don't mean much

I do know what I am talking about. Everette was taken in the second round correct? Then what did we use to get that second rounder. So this guy sucked up two draft picks...two very useful draft picks.

Try to sugar coat it all you want, the guy has disappeared more than Peppers would for interviews. His ONLY key attribute is how he can get back to the secondary to support the run after it has gotten by him. I am willing to bet that should we bring in a coach that runs a 3-4, he'll become our newest OLB. He is borderline a 4-3 LB as it stands.

you don't know what you're talking about. he sucked up one draft pick, not two. the panthers used a first rounder to pick up 2 picks, one of the picks was everette brown, and one was mike goodson.

Why do I even try, some people just don't get it...or just refuse to believe it. I am done trying to explain myself.

So do you think Goodson is worth the 1st and 4th rounder we used to get him?

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
