The Fox Watch

I have always thought Dallas would be a likely place, but there are three things that keep me from believing that.

-Garrett is doing a fine job since taking over.

-Would Jerry Jones be happy with low-scoring John Fox, win it with the run/defense type of game?

-Would Foxy really want to work for another guy named Jerry?

Just because other coaches respect fox around the league does not signal that you will be a head coach next year. at 2-14 (hopefully) who would want him.. Nobody. Im going out on a limb and gonna say that he will NOT be a HC next year. Take your guess where he will be doing a position next year.

Dallas makes sense to me also...but as their DC

I still see them restructuring their coaching staff to make Garrett's job a little easier and Fox would be ideal imo. There defense is still struggling and Fox could basically be what Garrett was to Wade Philips. And it would give me an incentive to really really dislike Dallas :)

Yeah but, everyone else in the league knows the rug was jerked out from under neath the panthers. So please don't assume that some one would want him.

Coaches are like hot women: tons of people pursuing them and a few that are completely tired oh her shizzle.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
