Those Who Like Palmer, He's Demanding Trade

Luck f**ked us. Gotta take the best options when they pop up before other teams grab them. And right now there are very few options at the QB position.

i agree. Lots of decent QBs have hit rough spots and had down years.

can't sit around waiting for the next Andrew Luck. Odds are you wouldn't be in position to grab him.

If I am Carolina. An option like Palmer is there....I look at my roster and make a move. Waiting for the next Luck and being content w/ the type play we had last year (or slightly improved ) ain't gonna get us anywhere.

We paid a QB 12 million not to play. Not your money so why you worried about it.

yes when we could've set him free that year for nothing if we didn't give him that stupid extension

dude we're not trading for Palmer, considering the status quo we can't even do it if we wanted to

back in what? the race for 8-8?

The talent on this team is much better than our record last year. Getting a quality QB would improve our biggest hole...no one said he's elite, but he is still a quality QB.

Getting a quality DT would improve our second biggest hole. Getting both and combining that with an aggressive philosophy makes this team an instant playoff contender.

The bonus is that it gives Pickles a chance to learn a little, and we can see if he's worth anything or not.

If we're going to spend $11.5 million a year on a vet stopgap we can get Hasselbeck. And keep our draft picks.

Hasselbeck isn't going to be available. Seahawks said he is a top priority. We are going to have to give up something if we want a good QB next season. Broncos wont let go of Orton without picks. We won't get McNabb or Palmer if we don't open up our checkbook. It's either stick with Clausen or give up something for a good stop gap. The QB class in this year's draft sure isn't going to do anything for us this season.
