Regardless of the validity of any of these allegations, the argument was about character concerns. I would be more concerned about someone who was accused of the things Rogers has been, than someone who has been accused of taking cheap shots.

Why would anyone want Shaun Rogers. He started 1 game in 2010 and 11 games in 2009. He has a history of recent injuries likely due to the abuse he has taken in the league. He has been in the league 10 years and is pretty much done. He might be fine if we wanted to take a chance on him hoping he has a few years left. But to count on him as a starter after he has only played in 12 games over the past 2 years is desperate. Add that he cost 5.5 million and it is no sruprise Cleveland is cutting him. I would only take a chance on him if he were cheap.

Why would you think he would suddenly play well when he has been injured and a nonfactor for 2 years. They are releasing him because he can't stay on the field and produce. They obviously know something people here don't. His best days are behind him.
