Cam Character Issue?

I would love it if somebody asked all the current Panthers players if they would want to play with Cam Newton...except for Jimmy, Matt, and Tony, of course. I believe I can guess what Steve Smith's answer would be...

I have also heard he is a loose fun loving guy. Sometimes that can be perceived as immature so maybe that is why that is out there. Not sure. But what I do know is that he doesn't seem to be a premadonna (sp?) he is just one of the guys. And people seem to gravitate toward him when they get to know him.

I have never personally met him though so take it FWIW.

Cam reminds me a lot of Jamarcuss Russel. They're both big mobile QBs with a big arm whose stock has been pushed to the moon after BCS championship wins. I like Cam a lot more than Jamarcuss but the similarities are still there.

Where does this crap come from? What their both big and black? I don't think Jamarcus looked that mobile in oakland...nothing alike really besides being big...and well black.

I will say it again. The scouts, Raiders, and media didn't fail in regard to evaluating Jamarcus Russell. Russell failed Russell. He literally put zero work in. Cam might have some questions about him but one of them isn't work ethic.

Source close to Auburn tells me that Newton was supposed to take a knee at the end of the Oregon game near goal line but snuck it instead
