I'd be willing to bet all 3 are resigned as soon as a new CBA is done. The only one that MIGHT not is Kalil, because he has no real incentive to agree to a new deal. He's probably gonna be thinking "lemme take this big wad of cash for this year, then we can work out a new deal next year" because his new deal isn't gonna be for LT type money (hopefully).

I can tell you first hand that DeAngelo wants to stay, so as long as we make him a fair market offer he should be back.

Don't know about CJ, but I've never heard him say anything that sounded like he wanted out, so I would suspect we can retain him for a reasonable offer as well.

Did any one find this as a surprise? Center is one of the most important positions on the offense. Its def important when you are going to be starting a young QB as well.

I think he is a California boy and might like to return to the west coast. If we draft a center or center/guard combo this year, then you will probalby have your answer. Of the 3, I am guessing he will be the toughest to re-sign. DWill and CJ have expressed a desire to return (Weeks ago--don't have a link, but I am sure it could be found or verified), but I have not heard that from Kalil.

Just hunches, but I imagine CJ will have a deal very soon.

That way Kalil can negotiate with other teams and set his price which we will match or take the picks. If we used the exclusive tag he wouldn't have been able to negotiate and may have wanted too much money. THis way the league sets the price and we waltz in and match it for the win.

More valuable than any other player up for the franchise tag IMO. He and DWill were equal in my eyes but the kicker is that we don't have a Jonathan Stewart waiting in line behind Kalil...Good move by Hurney.
