Jeanty is the linchpin for this first half of the draft.

He really is. It's better for us I think if he drops to 8 but I'm not so sure. You have to make Dallas believe someone is going to trade up for him because they are really the only sucker's behind us the world trade up in the 1st for a RB. Even that would be difficult because my gut says the Bears will probably go WR, OT or TE. Our next best bet would be the Colts if Warren is there.

Aaron Rodgers is a dick.  He has family problems or something that is keeping him from declaring--and that screws Pittsburgh up.  I think he wants the NFL Network and ESPN talking about him.  You don't screw up the team and say, "Family problems....might retire.....dunno.  I will let you know before camp--go ahead and do what you need to do."  He knows the Steelers don't have many options.

I think he's done and just ego boosting himself.

I watched some clips, if not for prayer balls to Adams his movement was 2015 manning bad. I dont feel he's healed from Achilles tendon rupture. Ill bet whatever he used some holistic healing BS and it didn't heal correct.

Steelers should be the team to watch this draft.

I feel saints do in fact want to draft dart at 9, once that happens.... sanders stock just rising and a few teams will be calling teams for trades.

Steelers are one and they need a QB....BAD.

You mean the saints at 9--but that would blow my mind.  Had a guy on another board say Sanders could be the 4th QB taken--I don't see first round QB, but I dont see it with Dart or Milroe.  Dart has a personality that can take over a locker room.  Milroe is a beast of an athlete.  Sanders could be getting overly scrutinized for reasons beyond his control.

Draft smokescreen and all, but I think that's current feel among "experts". It's sorta like ward going #1 while he's like the 10th best player. Saints don't feel they can risk trading back into the first for a "maybe" chance at landing him at 24. If you're willing to a do all that, the smart and safe move is go ahead and draft Dart at 9. The smart deal is a couple players you consider at 9, will still be there at 40....Dart will not make it there.

I feel dart is lock to be a first rounder, right or wrong...

Vegas lines don't move like that from an unknown tweet. There is a development in the connected world, but we don't know what.

Probably there is an agreement in place pending Mason not being there or something like that.  Thanks

    • Down to Carolina and Washington for Ehlers.
    • Who are your top three breakout candidates for next season?    My three: Jatavion Sanders- Simply put he is the best receiving TE we have had since Olsen. We all saw his potential over that three game stretch prior to his neck injury where he showed a real connection with Bryce. Good route runner with glue for hands, limited blocking upside but he gives solid effort. With Tremble already being hurt I don’t see a reason why he already isn’t our starter and clear future at TE. Trevin Wallace- For a developmental LB forced into a starting role last year he  exceeded expectations. LB is one of the hardest positions to adjust to from college, and for a prospect who was widely regarded as very raw, surprisingly he was solid in coverage and only had an 11.9% missed tackle rate. He was overly aggressive consistently, and needs to work on his play recognition. But he is set up to be our best LB next season, and likely starter for years ahead. Even barring reaching his upside, his floor was clearly a lot higher than draft pundits assumed(Morgan can scout LBS). Cade Mayes- I am hopeful Cade wins the starting job at C this season. He may have been our most improved player last season, he looked like an above average starting C after he took over for an injured Corbett. He allowed 0 sacks on 327 pass block snaps. Corbett can not stay healthy, and at this stage in his career Mayes is objectively the better player. Mayes is only 26 and gives us the potential of stability at C, something we have never had since Ryan Kalil retired. Corbett slots in as a great backup C/Guard, and Cade continues to develop and gain more chemistry with Bryce and our stud duo of Hunt/Lewis.
    • Have to pair them like this for it to work, imo. Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Walker Ghosty - Chatfield    I'd prefer something different but that's probably what we end up with unless Ghost is traded to one of the 17 teams not on his MNTC.
