My friend, you are already here.

Were you around in the mid 2000's? We used to have regular other team posters here who would give people a ribbing some lighthearted and some out and out shitposters. There was an entire subforum dedicated to it at one point it got so contentious. It was called Smack Central. I'm guessing you would have been one of the folks calling for them to be banned lol.

We are dangerous or popular enough for people to care about us.  You would have to instigate on Reddit or something and drag them here at this point me thinks.

lol at everyone wishing we had some stud backup QB

Dalton not being a HOFer doesn't mean he's not a great mentor and partial coach to Bryce, he's been in the league forever and seen tons of things, he has so much knowledge to pass on.  Most of the good coaches in the league were middling players at best, so it's weird to think Dalton not having playoff success means he can only be teaching Bryce the wrong things.

Also, if Bryce craps the bed or gets hurt, we're probably better off with a bad backup who isn't going to win us games and end up with a top draft pick to take a new QB next year anyways.

If Bryce doesn't prove to be our QB of the future this year, the worst case scenario would be for a backup to find a way to win enough games to put us drafting like 13th next year.

Agree. Dalton also still has a cannon of an arm. So the offense is still functional and all plays are available.

I like the vibe around here.  I have seen some of this poo talking threads over there and it is immature poo slinging and insults.  I'd rather not.

This place is tame af compared to the majority of the rest of the internet.

But what you see now is a direct effect of all the losing. The Tepper's really have nearly killed this franchise. That cannot be understated.

As a veteran of the Huddle, I really miss fat Alice and some of the other trolls.  We had some good times.  We used to have some heavy hitters here on the huddle before it got so watered down to protect the fee-fees.

I mean, feel free to poke Reddit trolls, I just don't want to be responsible for opening that door.

I feel like it is only a matter of time for Tepper to find a winning recipe.  He wants to win, he just doesn't know how.  He is going to roll those dice until he figures it out, and he has a lot of money to burn on rolling dice.

I know it is the time of the year for hopium, but I feel differently about this regime than I have about any other in recent memory.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
