I honestly think it's a dumb approach. I mean, I get it from a front office/coaching standpoint but from a fan's perspective just wanting an organization to get back to winning ways bringing in a veteran fringe starter type is just purgatory. Yeah, it might buy the GM and/or coach another year which is their focus but it just keeps the overall organization stuck in the mud. This isn't a Jake Delhomme situation where this guy just hasn't had an opportunity yet. There's plenty of film on Daniel Jones as a starter and very little of it is good. If I was a Colts fan I'd have the same wish for them as I do the Panthers. We need to ride or die with this young QB. Either let him develop and show us he's the one or let him suck us to a high pick.

Agree 100% in theory. When you draft a QB in the first round, let alone a top 5 pick, you have to give him 4 years.

But... the way Bryce started last season was so bad, I don't know. He didn't look like he belonged. He actually looked hopeless. Same with guys like Ryan Leaf (attitude) and Jamarcus Russell (poor work ethic). Bryce's issue was his confidence was shot. Hopefully he keeps his swagger going forward. He has the ability to be our franchise QB.

Tepper's Panthers in a nutshell

It’s really sad to see other teams doing things properly and then we keep half assing it. Tepper literally sent out a “please be patient” warning with PSL seats back when we lost Cam and Luke and it was obvious we needed a rebuild but we continued to act like we were 1 piece away and here we are with a bottom talent team where we still have to make excuses for why the team looks so bad coming out of training camp.

What we did with Bryce there was smart, which is such a rare thing to say about the Panthers in recent years. The guy was drowning out there and continuing to play just want helping him. He needed an opportunity to step back and just take a breath and work on some things without the pressure of having to play. It worked. Now we need him to take the next step. Maybe the Colts are thinking they can do the same thing with AR. I definitely expect them to go back to him at some point this season because Daniel Jones ain't gonna be it and you gotta give that former top 5 pick another look before giving up.

They were advertising PSLs for $19 recently. LOL

I mean when you consider that you're paying for the obligation to buy Panther tickets at face value...

Yep. I wonder how many people don't realize that at first and think they're gonna get tickets for all the home games for $15/month then are like... uh, yeah... fug that. LOL

Anyone that was a uf gators fan knew Anthony Richardson was going to fail.  Super athletic and talented.  Terrible accuracy, makes terrible decisions,  but every once in a blue moon will make a jaw dropping play.  With all that said , B Young hopefully does well this year but may be joining him soon.

If you could give Bryce the talent of AR you'd have a surefire HOFer.

I don’t think you needed to be a UF fan. Dude had bust written all over him.
