If you think we've actually been better than the Giants then more power to you.

We've both been bottom feeders but their arrow sure does seem to be pointing up. We'll see if off-season and preseason promise translates to regular season success for them. But damn, Dart really did show a LOT of promise. They definitely have reason for optimism.

Lol since 2017 the Panthers are 47-85,

Also since 2017 the Giants are 40-91-1

Lol

We started 2018 6-2. The Giants started 2018 1-7. We’ve basically been as bad as anyone since the middle of 2018. There’s nothing to celebrate when we’ve been as bad as a team who has 3 or 4 wins per season in 4 of the last 8 years.

That said, I’m not going to lie, I’d actually take the Giants roster over ours right now. Really depends on QB development in the end but they’ve got 5 cheap years to our 3.

Also, for all the guys pounding the table to get all this compensation for our scrubs, this is the actual reality of the market.

We got a 6th for Little and a 4th for Mingo. Jets got a 2nd, 4th and 6th out of us for Darnold and Jax got a 3rd from us for CJ. You never know.

I'm surprised to see them move Phillips, especially for so little. He's a decent NT and they don't have much behind him on paper. Hell, they only have two healthy NTs on the roster currently.

He and Shedeur both looked better than Bryce has.

I'm not sold on Cam Ward. He's got some bad, bad footwork problems. Dude will make some wow plays but he will also make some wow mistakes this year. His footwork reminds me a lot of Cam's and that was never his strong suit, and why he failed after his shoulder injury.

That makes no sense. Robinson isn't great, but he's serviceable and the Commanders' RB depth chart looks like straight trash without him.

I think they just like their options at RB and clearly weren't ready to hand him a big contract.

Now for the 49ers....I have no idea what their plan is. They already have a massive amount invested in that position.

    • Has the league just decided they don't care about calling this a penalty anymore? It's crazy how many times every week players are moving towards the LOS while in motion when the ball is snapped, sometimes it's pretty egregious too.  This really shouldn't even be a hard one to call, it's so obvious when a player is running in motion while drifting towards the LOS, and sometimes it's not even a drift as much as clearly running on an angle towards the LOS and not parallel to it.
    • I beg to differ. I would take our young core of offensive players over the 49ers. Panthers: Receivers Tmac, Legette, Coker, Horn Jr. 49ers: Receivers  Pearsall, Jennings, Borne, Robinson The 49ers have the edge at Qb due to experience, but if Young ever puts it together he may have more upside. Mccaffrey and Dowdle are a push this season, Mccaffrey is still great out of the backfield catching the ball, but he's been inefficient running this season, the 49ers are dead last in the NFL in rushing yards a game and near the bottom in yards per attempt.  Their defense without Warner and Bosa, it's not even close to actual playmakers, they don't have a Derek Brown on the D-line or a JC Horn, Trevon Moehrig in the secondary.
    • Same. And Slavin. I really miss Slavin, and this game shows the team does as well.
