Love the way Duke came out and dominated Elon in the second half. Did not love the way they played at all in the first half. Got a lot of missed tackles on film for this week and the next game's not gonna be easy at all.

Once the offense really gets in sync I think they are going to score a lot of points this year.  Even in the first half they had opportunities to break the game open and just missed it.  The D on the other hand needs some work which surprised me.

It wouldn't surprise me if USF beats Boise State. I feel like Boise is overrated this year; they're not going to have Ashton Jeanty to lean on anymore, but everyone has them taking the final playoff spot. I think the American winner (Navy? Tulane?) stands a better chance of getting that last spot.

Nice call

Conked out during the 1st quarter of the Cinci game. Seeing Boise State get belt-to-ass + the ECU/NC St (and the 60hr work week I've had) took a lot out of me.

I am not ready for the feels I'm going to experience on Saturday during Corso's last show. 😭😭

I feel like Baylor has the edge against Auburn tonight. I'm not a big Jackson Arnold fan and Baylor has a good number of starters returning from last year and finished last season pretty hot.

I also think Miami might be a disappointment this year. Carson Beck is a huge downgrade from Cam Ward and that defense has never really played as well as the talent level would dictate it should. I can see Notre Dame going in this weekend and winning big, but I'm not super confident in their QB situation either.

App State/Charlotte could be a sneaky good game, too. No idea who is going to win that one.

I was definitely impressed with Mensah. That dude's a baller.

Carson Beck is honestly pretty much ass. Put him on some borderline top 25 team and I honestly don't remember think he's draftable.

But he did the smart thing. He hit the portal and got him a big ass NIL bag. That's what Ewers should've done too. Those guys are good enough to get big NIL money but probably aren't good enough for the NIL so go get you $$$ while the gettin's good.

Auburn is a basketball school that wastes its money on football ineptitude, but they do have an excellent WR corps this season. That'll definitely help. I don't see them ever beating Alabama again, though. Six wins should be their goal this year. Anything more is not very realistic. They're two years away from being three years away.

Miami is always hyped up too much, but it's more justified this year. They won 10 games last year and were a Cam Ward business decision away from 11 wins. Beck is a good QB and the pieces are there for an ACC Championship Game appearance, but they'll fall a bit short due in part to a questionable defense and Cristobal's patented late-game coaching gaffes.

If App State doesn't beat UNCC, that's an awful look on their staff.

I'm so out of the loop I didn't realize he transferred to Miami.  And apparently someone stole his Lambo back in February?  So stupid to even buy that thing.

    • https://nfltraderumors.co/2026-nfl-draft-grades-for-all-32-teams/      Grade: B+ Best Pick: Sam Hecht Biggest Reach (consensus rank): Jackson Kuwatch (NR) It's easy to love what Carolina did. The Panthers traded four times but ended the draft with the same number of selections that they started with and in approximately the same ranges. They did not take a player ahead of the consensus until Kuwatch at No. 227, and it's easy to see how he fell through the cracks playing at Miami of Ohio. He's a high-end athlete, though, and has a chance to develop, which is a fine profile for a seventh-rounder. Freeling and Brazzell also checked the high-end athleticism upside boxes for the Panthers. Carolina let the board come to them in the first round and could have a long-term solution at left tackle, which is a hard position to fill. Brazzell slid because of some maturity concerns as well as the difficulty in projecting receivers from Tennessee's Mickey Mouse offense. At 6-4, 200 pounds and 4.37 in the 40, though, the upside is undeniable. On top of that, the landed three starters on Day 3. Normally that's a high and unrealistic bar, but Hecht and Wheatley were both firmly inside the top 100 on the consensus board and have paths to win starting competitions. Lee fits the scheme well and has some interesting traits as an outside corner. What stopped me from a full-out A grade is not loving the Hunter pick, though he does fill a need to replace DT A'Shawn Robinson. There were prospects at other needs positions I would have been more jazzed about. The Brazzell pick is also an interesting risk for a team that's still in building mode, even coming off an NFC South title. Still, I'm nitpicking

    • i have not watched many gt games.  is it his accuracy that hurt his draft stock his armstrength or all of the above?
