Man... what could've been...

Still hurts to think about. When KB dominated Clemson to start the season I wanted the Panthers to take him for Cam and was so hype when they did.

Then his mom passed and he just fell apart... I hope he's found peace.

I still remember this game. I was so excited for our new WR. Could have been another Mike Evans.

Sometimes guys just never fulfill their potential for a number of reasons. Sad but it's life.

Thielen and TMac are gonna drive Mr. QB School insane this year.  He hates WR that call for the ball with no separation.  Although I guess that's understandable from a career backup lol.

4 again with the mailbox. Like, c'mon dude. You're a rookie. You can't be calling for the ball like that. Probably got that from 19.

That catch he made in perfect bracket coverage between Sherman and Thomas who were probably the #1 CB and #1 FS in the league at the time honest to God might be the best single catch in Panthers history.

It's definitely one of the better and more memorable catches.

But the "best" IMO is undisputed because it has yet to be topped.

GREAT play but the catch itself wasn't spectacular. Same with X Clown. That catch KB made though... oh wee mayne. I really thought we had one of this generation's special receivers after that play. Damn it...

Thornton was in his jersey, he is bringing it and glad to hear about a UDFA making plays and earning reps.

If Thor keeps it up, bu-bye Evans.

Canales was talking Thornton up.  Not familiar with him but it sounds like he's standing out.

Hopefully he picks up a few habits from Thielen, Renfrow and Coker.

Side bar: His initial acceleration leaves alot to be desired but his build up speed is pretty decent. Week 1 of last season he was one of top 5 fastest players in the country. Ironically, beating him also in the top 5 at 20.3 mph was Jimmy Horn Jr.

Coker isn't an experienced veteran, and neither did he go to Minnesota with Bryce Young and company. Now I am not saying he didnt have his reasons for not attending, but he's still a young kid.

"The 6-foot-1, 197-pound corner has been catching the eye of those in attendance at Carolina's training camp. Joe Person from The Athletic highlighted how Thornton has impressed during practices so far. His pass breakup on the goal-line intended for promising tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders on Tuesday was the latest in a series of outstanding plays from the first-year pro throughout the last fortnight."

Good grief man, you're dragging this stuff into yet another thread?
