I don't understand the QB Whisperer thing. Geno perhaps but that's a wild outlier.

Baker was already a good QB.

I agree but he got lots of praise for Baker when Baker was better with the next guy. Geno was old enough and been around enough to finally overcome his mental issues to become solid.

All I want out of this season is Bryce to show us he's the one or for Bryce to be complete ass and get us a pick that might get us the one. That's it that's all.

Yep, I'm hoping we either HAVE to extend him or we trade him for the best offer, and if none, cut him.

Anything in between is worst case scenario

I recall Hurney was the one that was really blown away and pushed tepper to give him the moon.  I could be wrong but I am pretty Im not.   But make no mistake tepper is a moron

fug I was right, Hurney was all in on rhule

this article is LOL funny for so many reasons.

They were stalking Rhule after his vacation in his driveway.   Giving Rhule all the leverage

Rhule played us against the giants and they laughed in his face

Hurney and tepper got the used car salesman pitch in Rhules kitchen

We were scheduled to interview Kevin Stefanski but cancelled

Goddamn Tepper cannot get out of his own way

Yeah, we've known this for years. Have you missed the years of Hurney meatball jokes on here?

I think you don’t have enough information to come to the conclusions you find yourself at.

All we have to hang our hats on right now is how we supposedly looked in joint practice and even then our head coach Dave Canales himself expressed concern about conditioning.

If you want to say it's a matter of opinion that's fine. But there is enough information to form a conclusion that this team continually looks mediocre or awful in preseason and then looks awful to start the regular season. And that is regardless of who the head coach is. I certainly strongly hope that they flip a switch and suddenly become a competent team in Jacksonville and Arizona. But I wouldn't bet anything of value on that.

Hard to say. Hurney may have had more sway over Tepper than we think at that stage.

Baker had also already had career success. He wasn't some "find."

Geno I am sure he did help but a lot of that was just simply getting the opportunity again, I am sure.

I’ve mentioned Joe Milton and Shadeur a ton the last few weeks as guys we could’ve had for little cost, but I also want to mention Milroe was also a very viable option I was interested in.  I’m pretty sure I posted it somewhere here.  I had read some stuff from sources I trust that a lot of scouts were saying they felt his only real concern was accuracy and that they felt the causes were fixable, and outside of that, he was the most talented QB in this draft, or something along those lines.

again, it’s why I get pissed off with all the fluff pieces our organization pushes out for certain player because they focus so much on coddling players rather than forcing them to compete.  I honestly feel us not bringing in any competition is two fold, 1) Tepper isn’t ready to admit he made the biggest mistake in #1 overall pick history and 2) They don’t want to hurt Bryce’s feelings or confidence in the hopes that he can be salvaged.  Both are horrible reasons to sit two years with Dalton and Plummer behind him and do nothing to provide a contingency plan or competition.
