based on expectations/talk going on....my huddle bucks are betting on....

the huddle being mad/disappointed Tmac doesn't come out the gates being what the board expects him to be right away

XL gets some redemption as he makes more plays than people are expecting.

That certainly wouldn't surprise me at all.

XL is a fantastic talent.

His drops last year, while frustrating,  is not his norm.

I expect him to have a breakout year.

I still think XL offers the biggest overall play potential on the O.  Bryce and Canales need to find a way to give him some YAC opportunity that isn't at the LOS.

that wasn't directed at you.  Just the general group thought on Tmac and what is expected.

I think if you put up a huddle poll 85+ % would say he is a 1k WR this year and likely the favorite for OROY.

I am replying based on Huddle input, if you read the full message.

We can put a poll up for expected production/results. Might be interesting to check back on towards the end of the season.

I don't think the expectations on TMac are as high as you think. TBH, we saw higher expectations for XL in year 1 than TMac, based on the Huddle input, anyway.

A lot of both of their production is going to be tied to Bryce anyway. I suspect that if Bryce doesn't take a big leap, 80% of the ire is going to be directed at him rather than any specific WR.

Oddly enough if you follow fantasy, non panthers people are expecting a lot. I’ve seen him as high as WR9 in fantasy rankings.

I think basically anyone, huddle included, would have Jeanty OROY. He looks elite from preseason w2

I saw the post a few days ago. I think the TB WR was top 15 too. I said my piece about it. It's completely insane to be banking a high WR pick on TMac with him both being a rookie and the offensive situation being what it is in Carolina.

As a fan, I wouldn't touch that poo until the top 20 WR's. That risk/reward scale makes it very suspect.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
