I'm not sure Renfrow is as off as you suggest.  I mean, in theory, most guys aren't in game shape in camp.   Renfrow also was out there just playing super savvy and smart.  I did find it odd the announcers were praising some of this "blocking" when Renfrow was 100% making sure he had no part off it when the block wouldn't do anything except risk maybe a penalty on a play that already developed.

Canales himself said he was not up to game shape.

 I'm just saying, how many on a roster actually are in camp though?  

I would wager a lot of Panthers week 1 are going to need subs at a rate they won't later.  Combo of no one is really in game shape yet plus that FL weather.

Yeah Renfrow can play half the offensive snaps and be fine.
