REPORT: Coach Dave Canales was displeased with Jalen Coker's level of physical conditioning this offseason

it has morphed into WWE/soap male drama. I swear Im at my end following it. The booze ads into gambling and "message" BS has drained my remaining tank. I just follow the Panthers and quit the other 31 teams.

As bad as it is, it's still marginally better than NBA free agency reporting, which is all about whose "camp" is mad at who and who wants to team up with who to dominate headlines before going 51-31 and bowing out in the second round.

Person's sensationalized report is a ploy to turn fans against Coker, using comments from the coach who has far more recently complimented his approach, conditioning and his performance.

Two weeks ago he's irreplaceable, but now he's a fat JAG because y'all bought into one web article.

Yea that is sad the state of NBA, I quit them years ago and just stay at arms length normie status on the hornets.

Honestly the deal that messes me up the most about the NBA is that guys have become females about shoes. Years ago I was awoken to some YouTube vids of "males" showing off their shoes or should I say sneaker collection and what the fug...... I need to go ahead and invest in male makeup since I missed the tight jeans wave, I know the makeup is coming too....

I swear I just saw a report yesterday that was the literal opposite, how he stayed in Charlotte this offseason and completely re-vamped his body and conditioning and was looking great because of it.

It's maybe a deal where both are right- he did come in out-of-shape and he did put in efforts to get in shape.

Im old and old enough to member most players used TC to get into shape other than the current "stay in shape, so you don't get out of shape". I mean give me millions and I would stay in top shape for a fact. It's goes with being a pro these days.

Kind of strange for people to fabricate stories about things other posters didn't say just to further a narrative that they're somehow consistent and no one else is.

Kind of like the time you dug up a years old thread to dunk on folks for being critical of Sam Darnold only for him to have one of the biggest meltdowns in the playoffs in years and get sent packing to a new team?

Amusing.

Both Sanders and Coker weren’t in great shape last year.

I’m guessing Sanders dropping 15lbs wasn’t just his own doing and that Canales told him to get into shape as well then.

Im actually glad to hear that Dave told Coker to get into better shape. Shouldn’t have to tell a professional athlete to get into shape but here we are
