Actually I’ve got some stats about how big time his throws are.

You could even call them…..Big Time Throws

Remember ‘vaporware’? That stat seems like vaporware to me. I looked it up yesterday and still don’t really understand it. It seems way to loosely defined, and really poorly named IMO.

If he was a 3rd pick he would already be off the team or at least 2nd or 3rd string

I advocated for a wait and see approach again this year but yeah that was contingent on him immediately picking up were he left off last year....

He is who he is at this point.... he is a more turnover prone Teddy bridgewater, even when he plays "good" the offense is so boring its unwatchable

Who is invalidating accomplishments? What does that even mean?

If you genuinely believe that more folks are denying Bryce's shortcomings (I don't think I've seen anybody claim that he has a rocket arm) and aren't able to acknowledge the regular attempts to explain away positive performances by chalking it up to the competition "just being bad" then I don't think we're going to be able to have any type of effective communication.

And he were truly an underdog late round guy I would have a totally easier time rooting for him.

Everything he got then, would be earned through performance. But it wouldn’t change what he is as a QB, the same limitations would be in play. And I wouldn’t overlook them, if I were being clinical about it.

It is still perform or take a seat.

Well I have never claimed anything he did was due to bad players on the other side.
On the flip side, people defend him on the regular with saying it isn’t his fault because his teammates are bad. The coaching, the other players, tell me I am lying.
Hmm.
Edit I am going to caveat that first thing. I for sure claimed you could not use college as a direct comparison to the NFL, because the NFL is another level entirely. So it does discount the opposition, in that context.  But once you have NFL results, no.

Saw this on reddit and not sure of the author but he had the data suggesting in 2025 Bryce throws as hard as most qbs. His issues are not arm strength but poor foot mechanics.

Interesting video of his drops and why he goes back to 10 yards.

And an analysis of the Arizona game good and bad. Nothing about can't throw off balance or on the run. More about taking care of the ball and trying to do too much which are very fixable like no turnovers by the offense on Sunday.

@Icege

There is a post in this exact thread making the statement he actually does have a rocket arm and is denying his shortcomings.

The footwork is a huge deal, it seems clear that you aren’t gonna do much velocity jumping to throw or standing with both feet parallel to the LOS which is pretty much all arm no leg drive.

The only chance he has, to be NFL good, is using great footwork and getting leverage from his base. When he doesn’t? He gets away with stuff, sure, but it is not going to get the job done in the long run, big picture, etc etc.
