Rozeboom surprised me with how well he played (let's face it, it wasn't hard to show a slight improvement on the crapfest he's been serving up recently), but I wouldn't agree with an 83.

Eh, PFF..it is what it is.

I feel like somehow Evero schemed things up for him, he doesn't have the natural instincts to play ILB at that level on a weekly basis. If we had Shaq/Luke/TD he would only see special teams unless an injury

PFF has it's uses for certain position groups but it shouldn't be seen as gospel. Sometimes you just have to look at what you're seeing with your own two eyes.

Yes. I trust my eyes. But I can’t spend time rewinding and watching 11 guys on every play, lord. But you can tell who is getting beat who is winning plays, and get good feel for what the players are doing.
I don’t gamble, I don’t set lineups, so perusing their scores is an okay way to spend a few minutes.

Holy crap that is a lot of throws outside the right hash by Bryce... Haven't paid attention to other passing charts, but I have to imagine if the same happened in those games, then opposing DCs are going to start prioritizing coverage to the right of the center.

Yeah. Pretty obvious there. One thing I saw less of than normal (my perception) is the behind the LOS attempts.

TMac was on the right side the entire game outside of one play.

The other passing charts do not look like that. This was last week's:
Bryce Young Week 4 Pass Chart

um... make it make sense. 200+ yards, no fumbles so why only a 75?!

Listen at 6:15 if you want to know why Dowdle only received a 75 (which is good, by the way). Short answer: because the line has been balling out run blocking.

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
