4 to 6 games into the season, do we know this teams identity?

I was paraphrasing, but I believe Dave Canales said something close to this. I personally believe on offense, playmakers are emerging. Bryce is still making mistakes, but he's not letting it get to him and keeps battling, and making plays in crucial moments. On defense, the run D is much improved. But, and we desperately need a consistent pass rush, we could be deadly if we had it. We seem to be loaded at the RB position. Even Etienne looks good! And I'm loving what I'm seeing from Jimmy Horn. I think this kid will end up being something special. What's your take 6 weeks in?

Run the damn ball and don't let them run the damn ball..., keep their defense on the field to tire them out and keep ours off the field to keep them fresh... when they're tired slice them up with PA with BY... that's about as much as an identity we've had this decade.

Really good point! Plays right into the "keep pounding" mantra. When this team has been successful over the years it has usually been because of our dominant run game... and defense.

Our identity: run the ball and then run the ball some more+ shut down the run on defense

Interesting that when Canales was at Seattle, that was their recipe for success huh? Ironic? Nahhh, that's how you win in the NFL, by imposing your will up front!

There are few football truths. Defense wins championships and games are won in the trenches!!! Every team wants the next high flying offense like the chiefs and the next Patrick Mahomes, but even they lost in the Super Bowl against the Eagles who played defense and ran the ball. People think Hurts is a great QB, but their 2 losses this season exposed him when you try to put the ball in his hands and make him throw it 30+ times per game, they lose.

It’s not sustainable but it’s been damn fun.

I agree that 200 rushing yards a game isn’t sustainable but I think we can end up finishing as a top 5 rushing attack this year. It’s what our O-line personal is built for. Plus, rushing the ball is the only thing we’re good at so it’s pretty much the only answer to OP’s question. That and stopping the run.
