Yeah the Jets are definitely better than their record suggests and the Panthers seem to play so much worse on the road than at home. I'm definitely not going into the game overconfident. Hopefully with the way our run defense has been, we can clamp down their offense and put ourselves in good position for the win. I think it'll boil down to whether we beat ourselves. < 2 turnovers = Panthers win

While we could certainly lose to them, they are really not better than their record suggest.  They have the worst sack ratio in the league. They have the worst passing stats in the league.  They can run the ball, but at least on paper, they should be a good match for us as our run defense is good while our pass defense is not.

Well, Justin Fields is fuging terrible. I have literally been telling people this since his 2nd year in the NFL.

I will never understand how people don't see it.

They ride Tyrod and they actually could win a few games.

Totally agree.  I would take Young 100x over before I selected Fields.  He looked totally lost yesterday.  Curt Warner was going off on him. He has no sense of timing with his receiver.  He waited several times instead of throwing the ball where the receiver is supposed to be.  He waited until the receiver made his cut and the DB was able to recover and defend the pass.

He's the reason why Denver has 9 sacks yesterday.

I hope they switch to Tyrod after our game.

Fields can run around and make things happen. Of course, those things are not always good things. My hope is we get the 9 sacks, -10 yards passing version of Fields, and not the 1 that rushed for 1000 yards as a qb.

I would wager odds highly favor we see neither of those guys Sunday.   Those are sort of the extreme ends of the Fields spectrum.

Fields accounted for 300+ total yards vs Dallas, 260 + vs Steelers, 300+ vs Phins.  Over 200 passing in those 3.

Broncos likely are the actual #1 D in the NFL to date as they are #2 in yards and #2 in pts

Felt like just the other week Jackson was everyones favorite new corner and the best Morgan move….

life changes quick.

He has his limits. He is good but not good enough for receivers of Pickens skill level. I knew that and Evero should have known that.

    • Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.
    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
