Bryce's Achilles Heel Is Not What You Think It Is

Where did I cite Dalton throwing the ball 60 air yards? I believe you err.
The other guy currently in this thread claimed earlier, that Bryce could throw the ball 60 yards and I asked him if he had ever seen that.

I rewatched some of those games with Dalton and the difference is stark. The way the ball comes out of his hand compared to bryce is noticable. Especially on the out breaking routes

You must be an old guy too. What gives it away is your refusal to accept data. You think your eyes know more than experts and science it’s foolish. But we can dig deeper if you want. There’s a lot of people here who will never praise a black QB. When Cam was here it was Derek Anderson. Now it’s Andy Dalton. Stop it. Could there be a darker meaning? The one this board is never ready for, but idc. My life doesn’t revolve around this place so I’ll say it.

If he was born in the civil rights era it also means he spent the first 20+years of his life being fed that blacks aren’t supposed to play QB, they aren’t mentally capable. I’m sure a petite one is throwing him into all types of mental fits.

Dalton has a stronger arm than Bryce. He always has.

I mean, Will Grier also had a cannon for an arm. So does Anthony Richardson.

Doesn't necessarily mean they are more suited to play than Bryce.

Lol. WTF.

This is a fitting and insane end to this thread.

I'm at least in the running for Bryce's biggest hater.  I was stanning for Cam before it was cool, he is my all time GOAT.  Cam is how I got my kids into football.  Most Bryce's haters are me.  And to pretend otherwise, and try to make that the convo.... is whack.

pretending some small horrible voices that don't deserve oxygen is what is "really going on" is whack.

Seeing that makes me think he did some real damage to his throwing arm when he hurt his shoulder at bama.

That's an interesting theory. He did come back REALLY quickly from that AC joint sprain. He did also have medicals with us and other teams so I guess if that was the case, no obvious long term damage was found.

I just don’t see him being able to make that throw now. Maybe he can but it seems like something changed for him since then.

Could be that his shoulder is degraded. It could also be that he doesn’t get pockets like this in the nfl.

And people like me think it’s whack to not acknowledge it. This is a much deeper intellectual discussion that gets into critical race theory. Not suited for the people here who can’t even handle nuanced sports opinions.

If you think it’s dead tho, ask yourself why most teams with young black QBs often surround them with black backups. They don’t call for the black back up like they do for the white one. It’s one of the reasons Flacco keeps getting shipped off from the Browns.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
