Bryce's Achilles Heel Is Not What You Think It Is

In your opinion, in what year do the excuses stop for bryce?  I mean the most expensive line in football, a top tier rb, 2 first round wr's.  So tell me at what point do you simply just accept he isnt a good nfl qb?

This is what I want to know. We spent a ton of assets to get Bryce and we've done the right thing by him in investing tons of assets in trying to put an OL in front of him and weapons around him and the best we've seen is mid-tier starter type play and even that only erratically. So far, this season is looking like the worst case scenario. Bryce keeps doing just enough to keep the organization clinging to hope. All I wanted out of Bryce this year was boom or bust, anything other than mid.

We need teams to adjust to our newfound dominant running game so that we can get that. I fully expect Bryce to regress again once we don't have best in the league RB play behind him but with this soft patch of scheduling I'm afraid he's gonna be able to do just enough to leave the organization still clinging to hope. Just please prove me wrong and be that guy or go back to faceplanting. This stuck on purgatory stuff has to stop.

In some other thread, Juan posted a video clip where the guy said no back has produced as much as Dowdle the last 2 weeks since 2011 when LeVeon Bell did it.  Dowdle's production the past two weeks is essentially historic.

Again. Who on this roster is known for getting deep. Throwing deep ain’t all about the QB. Why you think Patrick stop throwing down field when they had roster changes. Team game.

it’s not all about getting deep more so taking shots when your wideout has 1v1 coverage, let’s not even mention Pats name, he’s never struggled as much as Bryce to eclipse 200 yards per game on a week to week basis

I’m sorry but a deep threat isn’t the reason he’s consistently below 200 yards week in and out , that’s a cop out, our wr core ain’t the top but it’s not so bad that a 200+ passing game in 2025 is a rarity

No matter where one may fall on their opinion of Bryce's viability as a long term starter most should be able to acknowledge it is very hard to ignore the fact that Bryce's best performances are virtually all centered around unsustainable circumstances.

Do you honestly think we traded all these assets to draft Bryce #1 to get a guy who peaks at mid-tier game manager? Hell no. We thought we were getting Patrick. Now plenty of us pointed out all the red flags in Bryce's measurables and play style as to why that wouldn't be the case but alas...

Here’s a fair question, what exactly does Bryce excel at ??

what from Bryce young’s game up until now warrants a 1st overall draft pick ?

Sidenote, already been mentioned but do not sleep on rattler, saints suck but not because of him

I hear he's excellent at breaking down a play over a Caesar salad.
