CJ Stroud's decline has to be studied. He was considered a top 10 QB after his rookie season, and is very clearly not a top 20 QB. He is overthrowing simple passes

For some reason they traded off his OL and have done a poor job replacing them. Especially in a year with a new offensive coordinator. On a side note, Slowik might have been better than they thought.

It's strange, they did a really good job in that draft and somehow fuged up something they should have just left as is for a few years.

The Texans defense is special, I think they were giving up 12 ppg coming into this game. If the offense gives them anything they win.

Absolutely. Texans have a terrific team, on paper. Their major weakness is their terrible o-line. C.J. is a fine young QB but pressure up the middle has always been his kryptonite even back at Ohio State days

Pressure up the middle is tough to deal with.  The Giants beat Brady in the Super Bowl with it

    • They built the right supporting cast and landed a great coach. Drafted the wrong QB but a guy like Jones is thriving.  It’s fun to see
    • I think he will be better than healthy Bryce and considerably better than gimped Bryce. Just realize that's a low bar. Don't expect Prime Cam.
    • The Panthers run defense is, dare I say, good. If the Bills haven’t changed anything during the bye, the Panthers could easily win this game. If the Bills actually addressed their offensive issues when they can’t run the ball, they may win by 20. The thing is that they have done a poor job of building around Josh, in my opinion.    His Super Man plays alone could keep the game close if they can’t run but, in the end, I actually think the Panthers win here. It’s a home game, Andy Dalton should bring some juice to the passing game. Their defense has holes everywhere and we have Dowdle and Canales going off in the running game.    Give me Panthers, 27-24. Down 24-20 with 2 minutes left, Dalton finds 15 for a 38 yard touchdown with 22 seconds remaining but the Bills are forced to account for the run because the Panthers still have two timeouts. Bills get into FG range but miss a 57 yard attempt to tie the game.    people begin to doubt Josh Allen without actually looking at what the Bills have put around him, and how their defense is just melting.
