Yeah, it did. Check out pages 84,85,86

There were a couple of sarcastic jokes that are tossed out at any number of players on any given Sunday and not a single post "cheered" an injury. Hell, only one poster reacted with what could be construed as any kind of positivity and even then it could be argued it wasn't, meaning it definitely wasn't "cheering". Saying otherwise is pure melodrama.

The game thread is stream of consciousness. I may or may not have made a tasteless remark I don’t recall.

I know that my reaction was mixed, , not sure if I thought it was a positive or a negative in terms of.the game.

What I do know is we don’t need him hurt in the middle of a year where the jury is looking to come in on his future. fug that we need him playing and healthy so it is a fair game evaluation wise.

That is absolutely the most important thing in my mind by a large margin. I am not happy he is hurt, at all.

Me either. I actually thinks it's the worst thing that could have happened. The last thing we need right now is Bryce out for any length of time. We need him to play for the FO to decide, correctly or not, if he is the future of this team.

There are some people here and within this fanbase that perpetually want Bryce Young to be perceived as a victim even though he is the face of an NFL franchise and the third highest paid player on the roster. But these same people never complained when Xavier Legette was getting trashed left and right for the last month plus.

Well I mean they had to have a thread where it was forbidden to make a negative comment about him.  Because we are such big meanies to him.

I am happy to say I escaped this time, I made no snide remarks nor pied any.

And it wasn’t like he was out there being put on a stretcher and people were like yay Dalton time.

    • Some of this is just brainstorming/throwing poo against the wall, seeing as how we have one of the least talented QB rooms in the league.  We need a talent infusion badly.  I feel Shedeur has the prerequisite talent athletically and as a passer, and I have since his college career.  Do I think he will actually be traded this offseason?  99% not likely.  On one hand, he’s proven to likely be the best QB on their roster.  On the other, they, and no other team wanted to take a chance on him for 4 rounds, so there has to be a price they would be willing to part ways with him for.  That’s why I brought up the Joe Milton situation as an example.  He was drafted to a team who took another rookie QB much earlier in the draft, spent his rookie year with them, then was traded before his second year for a relatively low value.  But, again, I also think the attention Shedeur naturally garners makes teams uncomfortable about rostering him if he’s not a starter.
    • I'm content to see how the next 4 games play out. Mostly because there are no other options! These are certainly more important games than at the same time last year...let's just see what happens. It's exhausting constantly yelling about Bryce. He's here, will almost certainly be our starter next year as well. Nothing to do but sit back and watch, and have faith that DM and DC will make the best move available for the future success of the team. They've done a good job so far. Way better than anything else coming out of Carolina for the last 8 or so years.
    • That sounds like your baggage. Can he play or not? That is the question.
