Happy Birthday to Andy Dalton. A true sized QB everyone wanted. We rooted for you!! Being over 5'10 and being able to pass the ball 40 yards every play purely benefited our offense!!! You just need to look the part to be our chosen QB. Enjoy your day and hopefully you start this Sunday vs the Packers!!! Woot

I have no ill feelings toward Dalton. Hell, I have no ill feelings toward Bryce or Pickles or Armanti Edwards or anyone this organization has terribly overspent on. That's a complaint toward the organization. All I ask from players is to come in, out in the work, be open to coaching, etc. By all accounts all of those guys were/are. They either weren't good enough or in Dalton's case just over the hill and completely washed up. I ain't mad about a guy cashing a check offered to them. I would too.

So
Andy was playing that one for the BILLS after all ?

Makes the fact that they didn't try Hendon Hooker at all even worse. Doesn't matter if it was poor decision making by the coach or if he's so trash he's not capable of seeing the field, either way it falls on either Dave or Dan.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
