We don’t count near picks on this board. Also he didn’t miss a field goal; that was your rapist kicker.

That’s what I said is that we missed the field goal. I’m saying Love threw nearly 2 more interceptions.

Red zone woes did you guys in.  You could move the ball, but not seal the deal when it counted. Teams can overcome a turnover or two, but you can't generally win relying largely on FGs.

Only 3 drives in the first half too.

Well if you want a qb who limits interceptions I have an exciting trade opportunity for you.

I’d rather have Our QB. I do think Bryce is going to keep getting better though. He’s still learning. It’s what his 3rd season?

T-Mac will tell you he expects to make that catch. But every missed opportunity with Bryce at QB just feels massive because you know there's not gonna be many. You watch other teams and there's near misses all over the place but it's just okay, next play let's go. But with the Panthers it feels like you're doomed because that was THE chance you're gonna have.

Yeah the margin for error with him at QB is razor thin. Just is what it is.

I have to pray he shows Morgan, Canales, Tillis, Tepper, what he really is over these last 8 games, and they can see it. However that works out, good or bad.

Because no matter what he shows us over the backstretch here, the stans will refuse to admit anything. They twist Sunday’s 48 passer rating into him being a Franchise guy and play the ‘nothing is ever his fault’ games weekly. It is so boring, always the same poo since before the 2023 draft.

His problems aren't mental, he's actually a really sharp guy.  Bryce's limitations are all physical: height, weight and arm strength.  No amount of experience is going to overcome that.  He knows our offensive system, is locked in with our personnel and knows how to read defenses.  The problems are he can't see down field in a crowded pocket, has to step into his throws to get any sort of velocity on it, even still limited on the distance and is zero threat in the run game in as far as called QB runs (not busted pocket scrambles).

why do people think this

Do you have proof to the contrary?  I mean, I don't dislike Bryce the man, I dislike Bryce as the starting QB for the Carolina Panthers.  I'm not going to dump on every aspect of the guy's life just because he's not the QB1 I prefer.

    • I think we pick it up and then someone else ends up emerging as the QB next year and we end up cutting him in year 5 and eating it.  That would be the most on brand thing to happen.
    • Evero has his faults, but even in that loss, the team only gave up 20 points. Your post gets to the heart of the matter. We are not a talented team on defense at this time. Some of our younger guys may develop w/more playing time, but for now we have no impact players at LB or EDGE. We could really use a ball-hawking S on the back end as well. We have exactly two players that have to be accounted for on every play, D. Brown, and J.Horn. Mike Jackson has been solid. The other starters would probably be backups on most the upper echelon NFL teams. We really can't expect this team to a Top 10 defense with such a lack of talent. All things considered I've been somewhat impressed with how much better they have played this year.   https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-points-per-game   https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-average-team-passer-rating We are in the top 15 in terms of points allowed per game (22.6) and top 12 in defensive passer rating (88.9). And, we are doing this without a formidable PASS RUSH. Even our rushing defense has improved. We are #16 in rushing yards allowed per game (116) compared to 179 per game last season. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-rushing-yards-per-game I wouldn't cry if Evero moved on after the season, but his defense isn't the biggest worry for our team.
