Bet it ain’t hair extensions either. No it can’t be good. This is fan hell we trying to get out of and it seems we will not make it.

I think the big question is HOW we do it. Is gonna come from rico carrying us in the run game or is bryce gonna step up with great passing performances against teams like the niners, rams, Tampa twice, and the HAWKS.....I dont see bryce doing much personally.

It is a pretty tough schedule. If we leave our pom poms at home and look at it rationally it is tough to see.

Yeah I dont see bryce doing much personally. Its gonna have to be rico or bust.

We really need Bryce to get a few chances with it on his shoulders.
 

It may be the only way we can get a new QB (More likely).
Or maybe find out we have one (Less likely).

The BY9 situation is classic sunk cost fallacy.

We traded premium assets to get him. Every few games he flashes the traits that made him appealing (quick reads, touch, composure) but the macro picture doesnt lie. Hes producing at a bottom-tier level across efficiency metrics in yards per attempt, EPA/play, completion percentage over expected, and explosive plays.

Instead of objectively reassessing, the organization continues to justify the investment - new coaches, new systems, new excuses - trying to salvage what was invested.

Giving him a 5th year is a self inflicted would.  We need to take our lumps and move on

It has been the same thing all along. Like Greg Cosell said every once in a while he makes some nice throws.
But that's the extent of it. He is limited, the staff has to work around it, here we are.

it's already a blunder. They have to have the opportunity to waste it. Bryce is a complete bust, the advantage of a good qb on a rookie contract never materialized. 

Tepper has shown the willingness to move on from bad decisions. I can't really point to an instance of Tepper putting his fingers on the scales since he hired a coach with as limited a scope of practice as he could find.

Aren't you optimistic with only a 5th year option move.

My prediction a month ago was 5 year, 220m with 160m guaranteed after a nice dinner with the Teppers. I'd expect 125 of that to be signing bonus locking him in for sure for the next 3 years.

Yeah it's already a blunder. Do you really think Tep and Co. think so? I hope so, but I'm not as confident in the powers that be's decision making.
