The defense is BALLING today. Evero isn't my ideal DC, but he's done a solid job down the stretch. We are an additional another edge rusher and 1 stud LB  away from a top 10 defense in 2026.

Don't forget the "don't know how to tackle, even though you are supposedly NFL caliber players and a High School player would do better!!".

It's just so disappointing how we're being led into this territory where management will keep him at the very least, next year.  But he significantly limits what an offense can do.  Everyone knows it.  Everyone.

We've been slow walking into mediocre purgatory this entire season as DB, the rookies and FAs have really helped take the team forward.  

You have to work around him rather than with him.  Canales is pretty bland, but you can't even see what he's made of either.  It's soo freaking annoying.

I mean... Like half of our current defensive starters wouldn't be on half the NFL rosters. It's frustrating, but I get why they miss tackles - they flat out lack talent

At this level, 'talent' should be the difference between highlight reels and anonymity, not being able to understand HS level tackling.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
