Let's play a new game, guess that team!

  • QB from Alabama
  • QB that people claim can't throw the ball
  • Team with Free Agent Running Back doing the "heavy lifting"
  • Team with winning record

Did you bet against them too? Real fans don't bet against their team.

question for the casuals: if Bryce and the Panthers are so bad, what has you spending hours on a fan forum daily racking up tens of thousands of posts claiming the latter?

I think it’s because they’re fans who want better than they’re getting. Pretty basic concept. The “casual” thing isn’t going to happen. Stop trying to make it happen

I don't have the time or energy to respond to all of the casuals but yes, if you cannot sit back and root for your team and the players on your team, you're a casual to me. You're caught up in things like jerseys, star power, stats, etc. Plain and simple, if you don't want to be happy after your team wins and you wanna nitpick every player, coach, decision over something you have absolutely no control over, do you boo.

Contrarily, I am such a huge fan that I have been cushioning the blows of my teams losses for years. If I bet the other side, it's a win win. I literally just paid for my tickets behind home plate in the world series watching my dodgers win again because I previously bet on the Blue Jays to beat them. The Jays won, I won a chunk of money and cushioned the blow, took the winnings and got incredible seats. I don't expect everyone to be able to understand this or afford this life style, but it's just what I do. I already admitted to losing thousands on betting against the panthers, I already ate my crow, I'm a man and can admit when I am wrong, I can laugh at my self and not take things like sports so seriously. I will most likely keep adding the panthers opponents to some of my lottery parlays too. Sue me!

As soon as opponents figure out how to stop Rico Dowdle, Bryce is going to have to win games on his own. It’s going to be ugly because Bryce cannot do that, and we’re all going to want a new QB again.

Next year Dan Morgan HAS to bring in a younger veteran QB as backup with Dalton obviously on the way out and no other options on the roster. Someone like a Trey Lance, Zack Wilson, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, Malik Willis, etc. At least one of those guys will go on to be a decent to good starter in the NFL after time riding the bench.

This is one of those accounts that will literally disappear by the end of the season.

Same as every year. Just some random casual fan or AI going full retard.

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
