Panthers PFF Grades vs Falcons

I'll be honest, I don't really know exactly what goes into PFF grades, but I'm surprised an 8 catch, 130 yard, 2 TD game with no drops didn't grade out higher than a 77.

77 is a very good grade by PFF standards, they say above 60 is an above average game. Anything above 80 is crazy-good, like setting the franchise record in passing.

Luckily they're the cheapest and easiest guys to find.

Oh.

As things now stand (picking 10-17...that's right, we are moving back in the draft right now from 16 to 17), we would probably have to take the 4th best edge rusher (Bailey Texas Tech) in the draft if we went that route.

bare is doing a lot of work here.

Scourton is at best a number 2. Bro gets lost in the wash constantly, it was very obvious yesterday. He doesn't have the pass rush production to justify how much of a non factor he is against the run. I don't think Prince is a guy at all.

I agree with you though, they need someone serious at ILB.

This is a reach. Saying he is a non factor in the run game is total BS. Dude has made a noticeable difference in the run game than what we were without him on the field. Not to mention his effort is unquestionable. He’s a rookie that looks to be improving and that’s promising. He does leave more to be desired in pass rushing situations though

Yes Scourton is very young. Probably not even finished developing his body. Looking forward to seeing him after the  year in tne NFL plus an offseason.

they used Thorton in Lathan ransom's role this past game

would be interesting to see Thorton play more as a safety

I'm not so sure it was making him play safety as it was changing the secondary to 4 CBs and a S. Its just a different set based on matchups.

Less than 24 hours after the game they’ve managed to watch every play and player and assigned grades with such specificity they need decimal points.

like guys come the fug on

IF they had 64 analyst that would be 2 per team.  One could take offense; one could take defense.  Roughly 100-150 plays a game, let's call it 140 that would be 70 plays each.

Coach's film has no downtime between plays so to watch 70 plays would take about 10 minutes.  Even if you watched each play 11 times to focus on each player thats 110 minutes, less than two hours.

That leaves 22 more hours to really take your time.  Seems very doable.
