The exact opposite game plan

They should have run the ball and controlled time of possession. WTF Canales was thinking, I have no idea. Bryce with another sh%t the bed game. Terrible play calling. That's the game in the nut shell. Speaking of nuts, your supposed to try "The peanut punch" on the football and not a pair of real balls.

Why did they run so many roll outs when last week we barely did? Why is Rico only getting 6 carries, why no designed shots downfield? Canales game plan  for this game was baffling.

yeah after some thought not sure what kind of gameplan he thought would work against the 49ers. rico and chuba were averaging 5ypc but only had 9 total attempts. bryce sucked as usual under the bright lights but not sure why we thought passing those chips was the best way to take advantage of a hobbled 49ers defense.

zero playcalling to the strengths of this team. we have a mediocre at best qb while we have some top tier runningbacks having good production. establish the run and open up the intermediates and deep shots while stretching the 49ers defense. saleh must've thought it was christmas with the gift canales and young kept handing hin. easy gameplanning when your opponent's offense is calling scared.

canales needs to stop trying to be like mcvay when he's clearly way in over his head. would like to see us get an oc for him to handle that. he seems great as a ceo type but delegate playcalling to someone more competent.

oh and get bryce young tf off this team we're never going all the way with that midget.

Someone replaced his gameplan with one of Mike Shula's old color books that they used to distract him with while Cam was out there winning games. Only possible scenario here.

Rico needs the ball 20x a game, minimum. Adjust up as needed but 20 is the floor.

At least Shula was able to play to the strength's of the team - let Cam do it.

Rico's been the best player on our offense by a large margin and Chuba was picking up steam.

What does Canales do? He puts the game in his midget QB's hands hoping he'd be the same as last week without establishing the run, while the 49ers kept feasting against our WRs and predictable pass game.

This game was winnable thanks to this defense. But fugging poo we shot that chance away out a cannon and gifted the 49ers an easy win.

100% agreed. If he just got out of the way and did the sensible thing, Rico is in the OPOY discussion and this team has a 2 game lead in the division.

Watch next week he'll try to give him 20 touches when it won't matter against a dominant Ram's team.

This is the game we should have employed that strategy with our defense playing do great, instead we forcing lame duck passes and 3 and outs getting our defense gassed.
