Bryce might be the most frustrating player we've ever had.

Exactly masterful by Dave today...  I could have completed those two passes Coker and Tet were that open.

No you couldn’t, but anyway, that’s why creating separation is key. The best quarterbacks have receivers who can create separation.

Completely agree. We still waiting on that Cam esq game where he lights it up and we Completely stomp the other team for 4 quarters. But that may never be the case,  you still only get good play from him when you have a run game to carry the load.

Look how much we ran on 3rd down. Who does that if they know they have a franchise QB? Thats crazy lol

He has those every time we play the falcons lol. It’s either 5 TDs or 400+ passing yards.

I am starting to think he’s manic depressive, at least while he’s on the football field. Some games he looks like he wants to be anywhere other than playing football and then games like yesterday he’s smiling the whole game. It’s really weird.

It really makes no sense. People talk about Cam wearing his emotions on his sleeve and it's true. But Bryce's body language and demeanor seem very telling during games, as well. Sometimes you can just tell it's gonna be a rough one.

I definitely think he is still plagued by confidence problems.

Sometimes I think he might still be a little damaged from his rookie season, he got sacked and hit a ton. It was a running joke how bad the offensive line was that season but part of the reason was the offensive scheme. But at the same time, he played very similarly at Alabama, his bad games were just better hidden because Alabama is so talented. So I just don’t know. The bottom line is this team wins 0 of the games when Bryce has an off day, and he seems to have had many of those since coming into the NFL

The issue is that he has had about 3 "off games" to every 1 "on game."

That is just not sustainable for an NFL starting QB.

You might be onto something. Maybe they need to make sure he's taking his meds before every game? I'm kinda joking with this...maybe.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
