I don't know why Thielen would do this. It's the last month of your last year. Just show up for the next few Vikings games and call it a career. Like if you wanted to ring chase, should have signed with the Chiefs a few years back.

I got not animosity towards him. He wanted to go back to where he had roots for the twilight of his career; and we did him a solid. He never expected he'd have to endure "9" though. So if he wants to come back, no, objections here.

I really think he envisioned being able to help their rookie quarterback similar to his rapport with Bryce. That and the fact his wife wanted to go home. I get it, but his ship has sailed in Carolina. We also have David Moore elgible to come off of injured reserve Dec 14th.

Every year we see guys in their final few seasons try to latch on to contending teams for one last shot at a ring. 

Way more fail than succeed.

LMAO. Pittsburgh is where receivers go to die and they likely wont even make the playoffs. I think I would have just ridden out the year on the bench in Minnesota and collected those last few checks before calling it a day.
