Youre telling me man. The last year i lived in NC the Panthers went 1-15 and the Heels went 8-20 their worst year ever. Family moved to Arizona that summer and of course we made the Super Bowl the next year and UNC got a natty the year after -
‘97-‘01 was pretty forgettable besides the whole 1-15 thing. I was convinced the sports gods hated me. I was in High School those 4 years and everything sucked. My HS football team was terrible, the Panthers declined after the NFCCG, George Shinn owned the Hornets, and Dean Smith retired. Dark days, they were.
