ascend lol......Bryce was bad in 4 of the last 6 games.

closer to the middle of the pack is still not the middle of the pack.  It's below.

Given Tilis is from KC, hopefully he is just saying the only things he can say and will be one of the good voices in house.  He wasn't part of drafting Bryce.

It's highly likely he has another sub-150 yard game with a couple of turnovers before the end of the season.

heck, without the huge gambles of going for it on 4th down (which isn't really normal work).....he would have been 130 in the last game.  Because those 2 huge passes barely got him to 200. Which would have been sub 150 in 4 of the last 6 games and under 200 in 5 of the last 6.

I mean, this season is what it is.  And I can celebrate finding any which way to win.  That's cool.  But acting like this is good play and production from a NFL QB 3 years in remains a wild thing and even wilder thinking this is a good path/plan going forward.

once again, it's really just one Atlanta game as the actual outlier really.   and 1 game outliers vs the rest isn't an indication a QB might be able to be a franchise QB

If Evero isn't in Carolina next year, this tells me that Tepper is still micro managing everyone because he's not getting a head coaching job and it would be silly to leave for another d coordinator job after a good year.  Plus, I suspect Canales and Morgan and easy to work for.

Yeah, I have no problem acknowdging that Bryce IS playing better. What I want his supporters to understand and what I desperately hope that the Panthers understand is that his margin of error is and always will be incredibly small. For Bryce to deliver acceptable starting QB play he and his supporting cast have to be damn near perfect. That's a big reason why we've scored 13 or fewer points in 7 games this year and we've thrown for fewer than 200 yards in 9 games (and a 10th barely breaking that with 209). He's averaging under 200 passing yards per game. We're 25th in the NFL in passing yardage per game. It is really tough to consistently win in the modern NFL with that type of passing production. It's fun to actually have a winning record in December for the first time in forever but we have to be mindful of how anomalous it is how we've gotten there when it comes to making decisions on the future. Hell, we beat playoff bound GB with Bryce throwing for his statistically worst game of the season with 102 yards, 0 TDs, and an INT. When it comes to contract decisions you can very easily shoot yourself in the foot out of fear of getting worse instead of the courage to try to improve.

Looking at the whole, his play is honestly not really approaching mid-level its significantly below average. You can't let overall team performance skew how you judge individual performances when it comes to making decisions on the future.
