Bucs are still the favorites to win the division

It feels like Vegas is basing this more on the remaining schedules rather than on the Bucs being the better team.  If so, I agree that we have the tougher schedule and that the question of who's better is an undetermined wash at this point.

Exactly.

imo, Panthers win the next two and get in or it’s not happening. Hope they have their poo together for the next two weeks.

Darnold and the Seahawks are a god awful matchup for the Panthers and beating the Bucs twice is going to be near impossible.

Seeing how this edition of the Panthers play, we will beat the Seahawks, and lose the other 3 games.

They can still split with the Bucs and win the last game.  I like our odds against Seattle playing a 1pm game in Charlotte.

I tend to agree. I think if we don't beat the bucs at home with all the pressure on them I don't see us beating them on the road week 18 with everything on the line. We need to lock this up next Sunday

We have to win 2 of the last 3 divisional games. If we don’t beat the Saints this weekend I have a hard time imagining we sweep the Bucs. Picture gets way easier if we win this weekend. We are healthy and they are missing Kamara. If we can’t win we prob don’t deserve to go.

If the Saints win two of their 4 wins will be over the Panthers.  I would say getting swept by them would be proof we don’t deserve it.
At least we have the games in front of us still. This is on track with the projected best case outcome back in August.

Let’s just play the Saints first.

People are looking ahead big time. I surely hope the team isn’t - I don’t think they are because of being embarrassed the last game with the Saints.

Fans looking at what needs to occur doesn't affect anything

Except other fans. Who wish they would not get ahead of themselves counting chickens before they are all in the coup.
It seems like a lot of people already have this win in the books when they start the speculation.

One more day to look at NO. I hear they are going to miss a starting ROT. If DB can disrupt and put that guy on an island without help maybe we can get some pressure on the QB.

The falcons front 7 ate up baker and the oline. I know the panthers pass rush is ass but it gave me hope

Falcons have the 2nd most sacks in the league with 48. Bijan and sacks are the only things they have done well this year.

Our 18 sacks puts us at 31st, 1 sack ahead of the Niners, and all their pass rush has been on IR.

Both the Saints and Bucs have allowed more sacks than us. Seattle has allowed only 17 sacks to lead the league.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
